What are the CENDI?

The Centers of Childhood Development (CENDI) of the “Frente Popular Tierra y Libertad” are public institutions of early childhood development in Monterrey, Nuevo León México that offer child care services to working mothers in disadvantaged areas of the city. There are two educational levels: the starting level for children from 45 days of age to 3 years old and the preschool level for children from 3 to 6 years old.

The CENDI were created from the philosophy that education is the guide for progress, and that is better to give the child the earliest possible stimulation to achieve a better harmonic and multifaceted personality development. This achievement will stimulate the formation of more apt generations to guide the society in which we’ll live.

The staff of CENDI is shaped as follows:

  • Director
  • Technical Council integrated by the Area Chief, Physician, Nutritional Expert, Psychologist and Social Worker.
  • The Teaching staff consists of Senior Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Co-curricular Teachers.
